You can create articles for the knowledge base if you want share information that does not already exist in the knowledge base; you should search in Publisher to check this rather than BackStage as Publisher will have all the in progress articles as well as published ones.
Some key things to remember when creating articles are:
- Use an appropriate template (HowTo, Solutions or FAQ) as the basis of your article as this will help ensure consistency with the rest of the knowledge base articles. Click Use next to the required template.
- Follow the standards defined in Knowledge Base Standards.
- Once you have drafted your article and it is ready for review, escalate it to technical review (unassigned) and it will be picked up in due course and reviewed prior to being published.
