Symptoms

The following error is shown when you access the OpenAM login page, which prevents you accessing the OpenAM console:

No such Organization found. Contact your system administrator.

The following error is shown in the Authentication debug log:

Could not get orgName Message:Multiple mappings found for organization identifier: [realm/DNS alias]

Recent Changes

Configured realm/DNS aliases for one or more realms.

Configured DAS.

Causes

Realm/DNS aliases are incorrectly configured, for example, you have the same realm/DNS alias configured in more than one realm. A realm/DNS alias should be unique.

If you are using DAS, you may also experience this issue if you have deployed DAS and OpenAM on the same web container instance (not recommended) or have failed to add the DAS URL to the realm/DNS alias list.

Solution

This issue can be resolved by configuring your realm/DNS aliases correctly and removing any duplicate realm/DNS aliases.

Caution

If you have deployed DAS and OpenAM on the same web container instance, you can try adding the top level realm (&realm=/) to the login URL; however, this setup is not recommended and you may encounter additional issues in the future.

You can temporarily amend the login URL to include the top level realm (&realm=/) in order to log in to the OpenAM console. You can then modify your realm/DNS aliases as needed and remove any duplicates.

See How do I set up Realm DNS Aliases in OpenAM 13.x? or How do I set up Realm DNS Aliases in AM (All versions) when CDSSO is configured? for further information.

Note

You must restart the web application container in which OpenAM runs to apply these configuration changes.
