QR Code Node

A simple authentication node for ForgeRock's Identity Platform 5.5 and above. This node is capable of displaying QR codes during login representing either free text or a URI depending on the chosen operation mode.

In either mode, values can be inserted into the QR code from the authentication shared state by using an appropriate replacement strategy.

These are:

  • FreeText Use double curly braces, e.g. {{variableName}}.
  • URI Use a prefixed ampersand, e.g. &variableName.

Installation

Copy the .jar file from the ../target directory into the ../web-container/webapps/openam/WEB-INF/lib directory where AM is deployed. Restart the web container to pick up the new node. The node will then appear in the authentication trees components palette.
