A simple authentication node for ForgeRock's Identity Platform 6.5.0 and above. This node is based upon Persistent Cookie Node. It allows setting a cookie (with arbitrary name and contents) as part of the authentication journey.
Copy the .jar file from the ../target directory into the ../web-container/webapps/openam/WEB-INF/lib directory where AM is deployed. Restart the web container to pick up the new node. The node will then appear in the authentication trees components palette.
Cookie set by this node can have an arbitrary name and contents. Contents of the cookie may be set directly as part of node configuration but they can also come from shared state eg. set by other nodes in the tree. There are also the following options to set:
- URL encode contents of the cookie,
- Use HTTP only cookie,
- set cookie only over secure connection
- set max lifetime of the cookie
